This was never intended to be on the record at all; I'd been auditioning about 3 or 4 other songs to round things off, but none of them really did the 'coda' thing very effectively... so I dusted off 'Oh..! Mister Peacock..!!' and it seemed to fit the bill. The original version (addressed quite explicitly to a senior UK politician at the time... the then-Mayor of London, actually... floppy-haired children's entertainer-type... 'Boris' something) ended up being adapted quite heavily before finding its way here. Much of the bile steeped down to the roots, I think... but hopefully you'll find it hasn't disappeared altogether.
